OKC is in the Chip game... Damn... that could have been us...

looking back at the games...I've noticed a lot of the DEs dropping back into coverage (zone blitzes, I assume). I'm not sure of the %, but that might factor into some of our pass defense (since we're not really getting many sacks except from DTs).
I wonder if keeping the DEs as pass rushers (primarily) would make much of a difference (since they're pretty sucky @ pass coverage...as a whole).
Do we have another scrimmage coming up?

Did they beat Windsor? If so, we need to take a close look at what they did on defense to stop them.

One more scrimmage. This one is going to beslightly run heavy with lots of outside running and passing to TE and RBs...maybe a little QB running too. What Pum does on defense this game is up to him.

I've tried to blitz more... we are blitzing more than 50% of the time... I have noticed that as well... and I am trying to figure out how to get the DE's more involved...

I will say that the many of my DE tackles are in pass coverage. Never understood why, but it could explain why our DE's have no sacks this year. My DE is set to be a pass rusher, and when he drops back in coverage, his skills are not really being used.

Well OKC didn't quite finish it off. They lost by 2 pts 23-21. As an interesting little bit of trivia, the two games we played them, we scored 25 and 23 pts. Those totals rank 1st and 3rd(Tie with Golden St. in championship game) for most points OKC gave up all season. Not bad considering at one point in the season we struggled to get into double digits on offense. Gives me good reason for optimism for next season
