WCWS: Aggies vs La Lafayette

Huge game tonight, 6:00 PM. If A&M wins, that means they need only win once more to make it to the National Championship. The team they'd play next would have to win twice against us.

If we lose, then we'd have to win 3 straight games to reach the championship.

Ulala's pitcher threw 200 pitches yesterday and is pitching again. I dont know anything about softball, but that seems impressive.

That's a high pitch count (their game was only 8 innings), but the pitching motion isn't as stressful on the arm, so they can pitch more.

That's bs that the ump won't grant timeouts for the batters. If you notice it seems that someone goes and talks to the ulala pitcher after every batter almost. Rediculous. And also I'd like to say that I still have a strange attaction to Gibson and Hinshaw.

I watched the whole game and don't see how you could think it is boring. Lady Ags played a great game. A little too suspenseful for me. Wish they would have put a few insurance run on the board, but I will take the win any way I can get it. The last two games have been nail bitters.

Whatever man. So I find the game boring. If A&M didn't have a softball team, how many games would you watch in a year? I would be willing to bet that about 10 percent of the people on this site actually watched the game. I root for all Aggie teams and even if I find the game itself boring, I will still watch and support A&M. Just don't question my loyalty and call me a 2%er.

that was a great game last night. Nice to see Megan Gibson pull through the rocky 5th and 6th. I have a feeling that if we went into the bottom of the 7th tied, Ulala might have won. They had a lot of momentum (and we got SUPER lucky those hits in the 6th weren't home runs).
