Well our first play off opponent is one we beat just two games ago. Hopefully we can repeat that outcome!:gig:

That's a heads or tails match-up. I hate to see them first.

That last game came down to an Over Time win... This is gonna be a crucial match-up.

Pulling out all the stops, if you want to put Dix in the PR rotation, I'm okay with that. Same goes for Pug and Holland. Pug is especially motivated.

P-Ville is cool on Special Teams... He leads the Conference & League in a few categories...
I've even recieved PM's about him from other teams...
But if you look at the Player Levels it just comes down to which player makes a play...
We just need to wrap up & limit their yardage & not give them anything extra.

I meant to back up the depth at PR, not to be the PR1. Just looking for any edge. Of course, if he's in the PR rotation, it would mean less time at CB which probably isn't worth it.
For some reason, Pville is hellacious at KR & not quite as good at PR.

This game is going to be an interesting match-up....
Last game the yardage for both teams were almost identical.... The biggest difference was our Passing Game vs their Passing Game.

Nope... we need our best players making plays... Can't afford to have our top 2 CB's riding the bench to start the game.

The toughest thing about the playoffs is that LOD went 1-6 against these playoff teams in the regular season...
This is gonna be an up-hill battle from the get go...
Most teams will see us as the easy out... It's our job to go out & prove them wrong.

Our offense was fairly anemic when we played most of these teams earlier in the season. In the last two games, we have put up good points on two very good defenses and bottled up one of the best passing offenses in the conference. I am much more optimistic than I would have been had we lost to OKC and had a close game against Recife. I am just really glad we managed to win those two games to work ourselves out of a first round matchup with Windsor.

This 3 game winning streak really has been good for us...
Hopefully we can ride it past a few of these teams with our new found knowledge in the "TACTICS" department.:gig:

Yep...our defense figured out how to slow down passing offenses and our offense figured out how to score points on the tougher defenses. Now we just have to keep the momentum going.

although from last season, I've learned one lesson...
regular season doesn't mean sheeot.
we were one of the top seeds and it seemed like the championship game was a #5 v #7...

Hopefully that will hold true again & we will be the #7 seed in the Chip Game. :gig:

Last season was a bit misleading as there were lots of teams converting from CPU to human ownership and what a team did during the first half of the season may have had little in common with what it did for the rest of the season and in the playoffs. This season, all the teams we are facing have had human ownership for at least a season and a half and there hasn't been a whole lot of player movement that would cause a team to be much better now than during the regular season.

With that said, I think our talent level is similar to the teams above us (with the exception of maybe Windsor), and I think we are finally starting to play up to our potential on both sides of the ball. We certainly aren't going to sneak up on OKC this time, but I still think we have a few things we have picked up on in our scouting that give me reason to believe we have a legit chance to go 2-0 against them.

we also have to anticipate what they will change to defend against how we won the game last time...

Without saying too much, they have shown this weakness in almost every loss this season. I don't think it is something they can fix with tactics changes.

Lets hope not. :)
