Pretty cool technology. This video is a couple years old, so I'm sure this guys is wearing some concrete shoes by now, courtesy of Exxon.

4ozs of water to go 100 miles...where do I sign up? 3200 miles a gallons is a little better than the 11 that I get in my truck. :(

Ok, if what he's doing is actually what I think he is doing he's using WAY more energy than the Hydrogen is giving him. As in it takes more electric power than you think and energy is lost between transfer in his system. It's very wasteful! It would be more expensive.

From the end of that first video is a link to another saying the exact same thing, even that the military is looking to use his technology too. Also it will only be 2 years until it is in production. This video looks at least 25 years old.
Both videos are misleading. These cars run on water and a ****load of electricity to turn that water into HHO or Hydrogen gas. Under realistic circumstances you'll lose over half the energy during electrolysis and more than another half burning the hydrogen and converting it to mechanical energy.

gas companies bought this technology a long time ago.

This is exactly what I was saying earlier in the thread. Energy is lost in the system and you'd be better off having 1000lbs of batteries. The technology is completely useless right now for cars.
Battery powered cars have a huge problem with storage and efficiency. There is a point of diminishing returns when you install multiple batteries. Also the storage is extremely heavy in comparison to gasoline.

Billions of dollars are being spent in hydrogen fuel cell technologies. I know several oil man that invest in hydrogen technology because they all believe when they can make it efficient it will quickly replace oil.
