LOD (Position Coaches)

Don't know why I didn't think of this before....

I just posted this over on LOD/Goal Line Blitz...

Since we have 4 players on the team that are not members of Aggiefans.com... any positions that are filled & posted on this thread I will post on that thread... and the same thing goes from there to here...

I'd really like everyone to help out more than just updating Skills & what not....

While 2 heads are better than 1 (OC & DC), if we could get more people involved... the more heads we have focusing on the our team & their team the better. :gig:

I am looking for volunteer's to be position Coaches to help txags92 (OC) & myself (DC) in scouting other teams & Scouting ourselves...

If your are a position coach, I will need you to look at each player on our Roster at that position and be honest with the people who have players at that position & inform them on what Skills they need to improve & also communicate with the Offensive & Defensive Coordinators in what you see on our team...

Also in scouting the other team... More than one position coach can scout the same position from the other team...

ALSO... IF YOU HAVE A PLAYER AT A POSITION, YOU CAN NOT BE THAT POSITION COACH. (Example: if you own a WR, you can not be the WR Coach & so on.) AND TXAGS92 & MYSELF WILL NOT BE POSITION COACHES EITHER, WE ARE COORDINATORS.



So here we go... this is what we will need.


QB/RB/FB Coach
Duties = Scout our QB, RB & FB/Giving Suggestions & Scout LB's & DB's on Opposing Defense. Coordinate with txags92.

O'Line Coach
Duties = Scout our O'Line Giving Suggestions & Scout Opposing D'Line. Coordinate with txags92.

WR/TE Coach
Duties = Scout our WR & TE, Giving Suggestions & Scout Opposing 2ndary. Coordinate with txags92.

D'Line Coach
Duties = Scout our D'Line Giving Suggestions & Scout Opposing O'Line. Coordinate with Pumchavas28.

LB Coach
Duties = Scout our LB Giving Suggestions & Scout Opposing TE, RB & FB.

DB Coach
Duties = Scout our DB Giving Suggestions & Scout Opposing WR & TE.

Well even if you hadn't excluded me and you, I have a player at nearly every position anyways. I would just suggest 3 per side instead of breaking them down that much...how about a QB/RB coach, a Oline coach and a WR/TE coach on offense and a Dline coach, LB coach, and Secondary coach on defense.

Would you rather be one of the other coaches???? I would just prefer that the Coach for a position, not have a player at that position for 2 reasons...

1) After season 10 or whenever we start creating new players, having someone coach a different position will help them learn how to build up a better player even if they have other players at that position on a different team.

2) It takes out the thought process of other players at that position that anyone is playing favorites... Not saying that is what is going on or would happen, but I would just rather stay clear of that possibility & keep everyone happy. :)

If you could... scout the other team's LB's & DB's... look at our QB's & if you see anything they need to work on, please post that info on the GLB/LOD Forum on the other site...

That kind of specific info I would rather be kept private. :gig:
