Although he's still committed to USC, he's highly interested in A&M. This could help us tremendously. Him and Fuller, then Holland would be killer. If we get Uzoma Nwachukwu (http://tamu.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=69850) too, then we'd be doing much better in the WR area than we ever have.

It will be a long shot to get him away from USC but atleast he is giving us a look. A lot can change over the course of a season. Win a few big games and get him to come in on a kickass recruiting trip and we could give USC a run.

w/ the Reggie Bush thing...now the OJ Mayo thing...I can see why a USC recruit would be wary of going there...

WHAT IF (you & I know it probably won't happen) they get slapped big time & have not post season??? These (among others) would be immediate thoughts going through my mind.

Unfortunately, it looks like Holland's career is over, rumors have been swirling of him having a career-ending concussion along with one other playmaker on the team. Is Carroll highly interested, or just listing schools that he feels are possible backup plans for USC?

You mean like Marvin Harrison (Colts - 6'0) or Steve Smith (Panthers - 5'9)? Yeah.. those short guys suck (somebody should tell these 2 that their height is inadequate & they should immediately stop being the best WRs in the NFL).
