Badass Weather hitting Burnet

Got about 6 inches last night and a F2 Tornado came though early this morning about 5AM. All kinds of damage here. Right now we are getting heavy rain and hail and another tornado is in Marble Falls right now heading towards Burnet.

I'm in the warning area in Travis County. But, were just going to get a few sprinkles. Sucks for you. That's a huge storm on the doppler radar.

We just got some hail (about quarter size) & 2 1/2 inches of rain in an hour.

everytime I hear of tons of rain in central/south Texas...I think of SRV (and the flood of 96 that took most of our house in Edna)

I'll post a separate thead in a little while about this, but my house got hit by a tornado last night. Some damage, but nothing too severe. I took a lot of pics and video of the damage around the area this morning that will be in my other thread.

Just add it to the list of why I hate 2008!

Yeah, we knew it was coming. NOAA did a badass job of predicting to the minute of when it would hit my area. Had the wife and kids in the closet under the stairs. It was definitely crazy.

Just another check mark for crazy weather that I've been a part of...hurricanes, tropical storms, catastophic floods, earthquake, lighting stikes, and now a tornado.

Same thing hit us... we (me, wife, daughter, Pug) spent a little time in the closet under the stairs last night. No damage though. Hope everything's ok Pflug.

KXAN in Austin did an amazing job last night. Three waves of storms with tornadic rotations all through them.

They were on live basically from 7-11 last night.

I can't believe my truck isn't pock marked....no other damage here thank goodness.

No doubt about it. KXAN is by far the best news station for weather in Austin. They had it down to the minute (10:05pm) on when the motherfuc*er was going to hit my house.
