I wonder how many "live" personalities that seem so fun and friendly on tv are really quite different once the camara stops rolling.....and along those lines, was it tv that made them that way.....

Bill O'Reilly isn't a fun and friendly personality to me. He's kind of arrogant and conceded on his own show. He's also wrong a lot of the time.

I think 90% of tv personalities are not so sweet in person. Danna Jacobson, Richard Simmons and a few others have videos floating around with them acting horrible.

I think tv does it to them to an extent, but it's just them mostly. You have to be patient and improv well to be a great tv personality.

Radio is a little different. If you mess up on the radio no one seems to care as much. How many radio voices basically mumble the whole time? I've noticed that a lot.
