I wish there was a stat for the secondary that showed how many times the guy they were guarding was thrown to. Rick Coady never has very good stats, but is is also not getting scored on at FS. I'd like to know if his stats are poor b/c he is covering the receivers well enough that they are not throwing at them or if he is just not making any tackles.

Both of his tackles today were pretty sweet though. The first one was an awesome read on a run play and the second was a great special teams tackle.

FS & SS are at a HUGE dis-advantage in the Tackles category the way the game is set up..

If the LB's & D'Line are making plays in the running game then the FS & SS get little to no left overs..

In the passing game if the CB's are making tackles quick, same thing... The FS & SS are left with little...

The only time they have a legit shot or control over what they do is when they cover the TE or the HB out of the back field on passing routes... but seeing how no one throws to those it's tough...
