Texas A&M builds early momentum but finishes 0-for-November, with consecutive losses to Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Texas.

They also think that we are going to lose by double digits in Lubbock and that tech will finish 9-2. But all it is, is the t sips that run the star telegram trying to make A&M look bad. They have a habit of writing negative things about A&M.

i dont think we lose to all 3 unless reggie gets hurt. We will beat atleast one of those this year.

i don't see us losing all three either. Losing two of three is possible, but I think our guys will fight it out this year after the horrible finish last year.

I totally agree, i think their is going to be a fight this year with this team that we haven't seen in the past years. Not to say the past teams didn't give it 100%, i just think this team is gonna fight and not quit till they get what they want.

I think the Baylor loss will actually help us this year. Hopefully it will be a reminder of what could happen if we don't take a team seriously

I think you are exactly correct. If it doesn't make us keep our eyes opened all season then something isn't be done right from the coaching stand point.

No, this is incorrect. This is the first year Jimmy Burch has said we'd beat OU.
He is usually pretty damn accurate.
I get this paper daily, and it is not always positive for UT. A&M usually gets pretty good love of FWST as well.

So you're saying that he should've said ya'll would beat ou the years in the past? if he'd have said that, it would've been incorrect, so if he's so accurate what's the deal about him not saying ya'll would beat ou? Seems like he was pretty accurate. Secondly, i grew up in Colleyville which is right in the middle of DFW, so i got the FWST every day as well, and my brothers and father still get it everyday and alert me to articles concerning A&M so i can look at them on the internet.

So if the writers at the star-telegram don't have a negative bias against A&M, then why is there and article published yesterday that was titled, Aggies hoping they aren't pretenders. Why did they single out A&M, maybe the longhorns should be hoping they aren't pretenders. They're the ones that for some reason, oh yeah just b/c you barely beat michigan in the rose bowl, think that tu is going to win it all. What have they done to prove they aren't pretenders, but no the writers all just give them the benefit of the doubt b/c they're big bad tu. Give me a break.


That being said, i never said that everything was always positive for tu. Not once did i ever say that. But the FWST has a habit of giving a lot more love to tu athletics than A&M.

As a long time reader of the startlegram I have seen a strong bias towrds tu and I am glad to see it continues in all its glory. If I had to pay for the paper I would cancel my subscription.

Yeah i don't think anybody here is trying to say we're gonna win all 3, b/c that is just too tough of a stretch, but it's the fact that they think we are uncapable of winning one of them, and they think tech is gonna beat us by double digits. Whatever though, i guess that's why they actually play the games.
