Who will start at CB next year?

Will Mayes keep his spot? Will Gorrer emerge? Will Marquis Carpenter come in and get a spot?

I think it will be Mayes and Gorrer. No real insights, just a hunch.

I'm not too sure about the CB spots, but the have got to get Mayes on the field somehow, that guy is a baller. Maybe put returns, dude can make some plays. I've got a feeling we will see some new face in the secondary, some of the kids will get a shot at the corner. I think with the D-line we have, because of the pressure they will generate, it will provide some relief for the corner. QB can't get the ball to the receiver if he is on his backside :cheesy:

Mayes should still play a hell of a lot b/c of the type of teams we play though. You could almost say three corners will start for us.

I think we honestly start 3 Cb's Mayes, Gorrer, and Carpenter.

I tend to think that there won't really be a set starter at cornerback. I think it'll be a swinging door. But that might turn out to be the best. I think Mayes, Carpenter and Gorrer will be the top 3, not necessarily in that order.
