:gig: good job guys... we won the game today against one of the first place teams

zrf2002
04-03-2008, 05:20 PM
we actually out gained the other team 337 yards to 193... if we had not had 5 total turn overs (2 int's and 3 lost fumbles) it would not have even been close...

Damn...Rock's tackles per play numbers keep going down. They must be running away from the middle of our defense or something. Or it could be getting taken off of the kick coverage teams. He had been getting 1-2 tackles per game on special teams.

As for the DTs, I have looked around and almost none of the DTs in the league get many tackles. It seems like the way the computer sims the 4-3, the DTs just absorb blockers and others get to make the tackles unless there is a gross mismatch between the DT and the Ol he is facing.

The stamina work definitely helped. I'm able to put the CB back on normal training again (he'll be at 98 energy next game). What metric would most affect hanging on to the ball? I'll address this when he next levels up (ditto with my WR).

txags92
04-03-2008, 06:36 PM
I would assume "carrying" is what determines how well you hang onto the ball.

Take it for what its worth guys... DO NOT train on intense unless you are at 100 percent already and even then its really not worth it. Look at the difference between Normal and Intense in training ratio and then look at the cost difference. The difference in price... 75 times versus 200 times in cost is hardly worth ie. .37 and .34.... so I never train on intense because just a waste of money and when you hit lvl 8 you are going to need 10k cash to upgrade your upgrades!!! Just giving a peice of advice, take it how you may. The best of luck to your team Pum and good luck...

Speaking of big games, I have a huge one tommorrow, we are in first and playing a second place team...

I'll need 10k cash for what? Pum - Disregard my previous team player message. My boyz need some cash. Holy sheep sh!t

Don't do that to your manager.... He has alot of finance issues to deal with, there might be a large reserve right now but after stadium upgrades so that he can afford your salary later, there is not much room.

After LVL 8 you can upgrade your upgrades... such as you got +1 for some head upgrade... well at LVL 8 you pay 2500 to add 1 more point. That goes for each one, so that is 10k. So that is why I say save your money so you can get the points you need. Don't try to push the money out of the owner. Here is the system I am implementing with my team.

At the end of the season, I am reworking every contract so they are all signed on the same day.

The salary offered is depended on the level of player at end of season

LVL 1 - 300-400/day with 1000 signing bonus
LVL 2 - 400-500/day with 1500 signing bonus
LVL 3 - 500-600/day with 2000 signing bonus
LVL 4 - 600-700/day with 2500 signing bonus
LVL 5 - 700-800/day with 3000 signing bonus
LVL 6 - 800-900/day with 3500 signing bonus
LVL 7 - 900-1000/day with 4000 signing bonus
LVL 8 - 1000-1100/day with 4500 signing bonus
LVL 9 - 1100-1200/day with 5000 signing bonus
LVL 10 - 1200-1300/day with 5500 signing bonus
LVL 11 - 1300-1400/day with 6000 signing bonus
LVL 12 - 1400-1500/day with 6500 signing bonus
LVL 13 - 1500-1600/day with 7000 signing bonus
LVL 14 - 1600-1700/day with 7500 signing bonus
LVL 15 - 1700-1800/day with 8000 signing bonus

For example of my LVL 4 player wants to train on stamina currently 23 here are the costs
Relaxed - 40 (.29 +15 en)
Normal - 300 (.35 +9 en)
Intense - 800 (.38 +3 en)

So basically on my salary of 700 a day I spend 300 and I am always fully rested up and the difference of training was .03 for 500!!!! Is that small amout worth it.

So what I am saying is this is what I do.... I play the game hard, right after game switch training to Relaxed then the next day switch to normal. I am always at 100 for the game and play the game hard but I only spent 340 for the training on a salary of 1400 for those 2 days.

Just think about it, I want to help you guys and strategy is the key in this game.

Stobie
04-03-2008, 07:57 PM
Yes you can but its a little differnt it upgrades a special abilities tree for 300 flex points... It will add 1 point to each item in the tree.. So 5 total.

With the game your WR had, I moved him up a spot on the Depth Chart... It seems the 2 starting WR's drew a ton of attention (double teams) & your WR took advantage of that & other than the 1 Fumble, really helped out our QB's... :gig:
