Something to think about...
What I am doing with my players... I am leaving the Daily Training on Stamina so that way they can last longer in the games....
Since I control a lot of players... What I do is when they Level up to an odd number (3, 5, 7 & so on...) I upgrade all of their other Regular Abilities...
But when my player Upgrades to an Even Level (2, 4, 6 & so on...) I upgrade their Special Abilities...
Just a something I do that might work for ya'll also. It's not mandatory... But it has helped me.
This is just to help everyone out.... There has been a lot of talk about this player's stamina & that players stamina.... In all honesty ALL of our players need to work on their Stamina...
Other teams have players that will get tougher as we go along & we must be able to match up with them.

Thanks for the advice Pum. I've changed training to stamina & will use my points as you suggested.

I've been working on stamina but that probably is a bad thing since my player sucks. I think I'll focus on everything else until he gets better & then focus on stamina again.

I'd work on the Tight Spiral Special Ability... It lowers the possibility of throwing INT's.

Bumping this thread..... Just want to make sure everyone is focusing on their Stamina... The rest of everyone's attributes seem good to go....

Pum, do you have any thoughts on what is a good level for Stamina to be at? I have a couple of guys whose stamina is already 20+, who have other weaknesses that I think are more glaring. I don't want to be caught violating team rules ;) but is there a point at which we can stop working on stamina in favor of getting some other attributes up to par?

just my opinion, but i think we need to get everyone's stamina to get up to 20+ and then focus on speed, strength, agility, vision, whatever.... i think once everyone is btwn 20-30 in stamina, we will be good for a bit and then focus on it again after a week or two....
your thoughts pum????

I also am assuming that my kicker is exempt from the team rule about Stamina? If not, he wants a raise to pay for the EPO injections and blood doping transfusions it will take to get his stamina above 20 before the end of next season.

yeah, i think kickers are exempt from this..... how much energy does your kicker typically loose in a game?

Do you really think we could get everyone's stamina up to 20 in a week or two? I think stamina should be the focus of everyone during the off-season.

i dont know, but that is not what i was saying.... i think once the player's stamina is 20+, then focus your training on other attributes and then come back to stamina after a week or two....

I'll put it like this....
After playing a game if your player is SO tired that it takes 2 Relaxed days of Training to get him back up to 100% energy OR 1 Relaxed day & 1 Normal day to get back to 100%, keep focusing on the Stamina...
If you can get your guy back to 100% energy with 1 Relaxed & 1 Intense OR 1 Normal Practice & 1 Intense OR 2 Intense Practices...... Then yeah, you can focus on other issues & Abilites....
The key here is making sure the team is in shape & not dragging @$$ while the other team is running circles around our guys....
As mentioned above... Kickers & Punters might be exempt from this...
Again this all Voluntary... You don't have to focus on stamina if you don't want... But if your player is not getting on the field Alot & or is not playing in CRUNCH TIME.... well then, you have to wonder if your Stamina is up to par....

I'm just copying this from another thread. I have been using this as my guide to stamina. My level 4 DE is at 19, so I need to move him up a notch when I can.
Stamina
Stamina is crucial for any player. It doesn’t matter how good your player is if he is warming the bench. Furthermore, you get XP based on how many plays you play, not what you do during them. So being on the field is key. Here are some specific guidelines:
Offensive players - these do not tire as quickly as defensive players.
Level 1 - 12
Level 2 - 14
Level 3 - 16
Level 4 - 18
Level 5 - 20
etc.
Defensive players - they tire easily so they need a little more.
Level 1 - 14
Level 2 - 16
Level 3 - 18
Level 4 - 20
Level 5 - 22
etc.
Punters and Kickers - these do not tire much at all so they do not need as much stamina.
Level 1 - 8
Level 2 - 8
Level 3 - 9
Level 4 - 10
Level 5 - 11
etc.

Seems reasonable...thanks KC.
FWIW, my question about the kicker was a joke. He was at 98% after the last game.
