I think everybody's guilty of saying stuff in the e-world that we would never say in person (I'm guilty -- but I'm usually quick to edit out my stupid moments before anyone sees).

The rule I try to follow, (you take this advice for as much as I'm charging for it) is to never post or send e-mails when I'm angry. If something ticks you off, step back, collect evidence if you must, and return fire by putting up facts rather than personal attacks (I do this often but try not to be so small as to point it out directly). Its actually pretty satisfying.

My rule of thumb when angry.......Don't email anything at work until after lunch or maybe even the next day.

Instead, log onto Aggiefans and take it out on whichever poster strikes your fancy. ;)
