it is a disappointment based on the preseason expectations, but im not complaining about where we are sitting now... There have been ups and downs... If we were where we are now with Billy G then I would REALLY be disappointed, but with a new coach i have a little room for error...

No kidding....


BCG left some talent & the 24-10 record shows that.... But geez... you'd think this was UNC, Duke or Memphis with just a cupboard full of guys who are going to set A&M records & a few NCAA records....

We have good guys, but seriously... What do people really want???? If Acie had been a Junior last year & a Senior this year... and led the team & was able to really dominate this year for A&M.... and A&M went 24-10... then maybe I could understand some disappointment....

But overall the season has been a success.. JMO....

We lost our best player ever (Acie Law), and our coach lied and deserted us. Turge has us in the NCAA tournament in year 1 (Something that only 2 other coaches have done in A&M history, Floyd and Metcalf).

If this year was a disappointment, your expectations were too high. I think Turge did a good job.

Im preatty sure Atchley has covered the durant role well enough, and with abrahms and augustine scoring all the points they didnt really need to regroup...

They were all there, but they always gave the ball to durant bc he was so "talented", and look where he is now...

Beauty of NCAA basketball...every team starts the post season 0-0. Let's see how they do...sweet 16 any year (unless you are top 3 all year) or are a storied year in and year out elite program ala NC, UCLA, Duke...then it's a successful season.

Let's enjoy the ride..hopefully it will last a long time.

Lose arguably the best player to ever wear maroon and white (Acie) along with the hustle heart of the team (AK) and having a first year coach, and still get to at least the same level we did last year. I would have to call that a resounding success for the season.

Turge did a great job. The first year under a new coach is not always easy and we still won 20+ games and are now in the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney. Not bad for a first year coach. If we had not made the postseason at all, then this season would have been a dissapointment.
