A very entertaining first half.

It's not a very comfortable 5 point lead. K-State seems to be getting the looks they want...lucky for us our offense showed up in the first half. We had a 3 minute span where we only scored 1 point, but we avoided the dreaded 10 minute gap of scoring which was huge.

We need 20 solid minutes more to take this one. Beasley is a beast, but when it's just him, K-State is very beatable. Add to it that this feels more like a road game and I'd say our boys are doing a great job. :gig:

Considering no one in the public arena & to a lesser extent even here on Aggie Fans expected A&M to win this game... Being up by 5 at the 1/2 is a good sign......

Goes to show that you can't doubt A&M no matter how much any of us "THINK" we know....:popcorn:

Dumb turnover by Kirk - under 12 minutes to go. Up by 5 and K-State's ball. I feel like Beasley wants to take over. I don't think anybody from K-State is going to step up. I say double-Beasley every time he touches it and make somebody else hit a shot.

Down 57-56 with 3:30 to go. Amazing that Beasley never gets called for a charge or for all the grabbing he does down low.

And he gets the "Jordan" factor every time he drives...surely we get hit just as much, but the foul differential is ridiculous. Davis and Jones shouldn't have 4 each...

I'm not venting, I really believe Donald Sloan is the worst pg in the conference. I'm so sick of him.

Great game so far by the aggies, but Sloan loses so many games for us.

Beat KU & A&M is a 7 or 6 seed.... but right now I'd say A&M is still a 9 or 8 seed. JMO.

You're right John. I accidentally said he matched the record, but we were 2-11 coming into tonight. He actually owns more Big XII tournament wins than any other coach at A&M.
