Which do you think is the toughest to play in??? This is not about ALL-TIME & how tough it's been since time began... but more about right now... Which is the toughest to play in & win?

I had to vote NBA Western Conference...only because it's so tight right now. The AFC in football is also a tough place to play.

lol funny almost as bad a a NSFW thread, but right now it has to be the west in the NBA based on calibur of teams, standings and as of last week i think the #9 team in the west would've been a 3 or 4 seed in the east, while the AFC is pretty tough top to bottom it's top heavy like the SEC and Big12 in cfb imo

NCAA Basketball: ACC

The ACC has 4-5 teams every year that would win the PAC-10. No conference in any sport is as good as the ACC is in basketball.

Technically the AL and NL are leagues broken up by divisions. ;)

I think the SEC in College Football is probably the most consistently tough "conference". I really cannot remember when they had a bad year overall.

Who are the 4 this year? North Carolina, Duke....and that's it. That's all it is every year. Remember, UCLA is in the PAC 10 and would be a tough opponent for nearly anybody. (considering UCLA consistently makes deep tournament runs).

I agree. ACC always has Duke, NC, and sometimes NCstate. The rest usually are iffy. (IMO)

Wake Forest has had some good teams in the past, but not in a while. Georgia Tech had a stretch run, and Maryland won it all not too long ago. Boston College is usually good. I would say the ACC is on average the toughest basketball conference, but not the toughest in all sports.
