Why are their rules on drugs, steroids & HGH above the LAW???

Why does there have to be a RULE in place for players to follow it???

If a guy works at Wal-Mart & is caught with Steroids... He can't say, well Wal-Mart didn't have a rule against it.... Nope, he just gets arrested...

What is the freaking difference????

I saw that one of these guys that were at Congress asked Congress to pass a bill that would require HGH to have some extra chemical that would make it easy to detect in urine...

Sounds good, but what happens to the illegal HGH that wont have that chemical???

Players who can afford it will go that route???

Why do we need hearings & all this other crap??? Geez, this is annoying....

I understand the need for the rule. How many people do you know get arrested for taking steroids? Personally, I know none and have rarely heard of it happening... it's just one of those laws that are never enforced. You hear stories about high school kids and others taking it (and ruining their lives), but nothing is ever done.

So, for the integrity of the game, there needs to be a rule that says if you're caught with it, you're punished (or out completely).

Don't ask me why Congress and the hearings are all happening...no need for it (unless they're going to actually arrest and go after people for breaking the law).

Because then a player could go to Mexico or anywhere that is legal, take the drugs and then play in the league. All the Latin players could go home and take them.
