It's unfortunate that the Texans started the year we did. Everyone agreed that we needed a great QB with the first overall pick, and everyone agreed that the two best QBs in the '02 draft were Carr and Joey Harrington. We were doomed from the start to have a bad QB.

Some people wondered if Carr was actually a good player that just looked bad because of a bad line in Houston, but the fact that he actually played worse in Carolina proves otherwise.
