New On The Radar 2009

Two names gererating a lot of interest in the last couple of days in the rumor mill:

1. TATE FORCIER- A rivals current 4star from San Diego who has contacted Sherm and company about a verbal and has been offered a ship. Coaches see his set skills as another Brett Farve and when its all said and done could very well be elevated to a 5star..

2. STEPHAN TAYLOR- Mansfield Tx RB whose coach has said the best HS RB he has ever coached or seen. Has already been offered by Notre Dame and Neb but is leaning strong to the Ags.

Has anyone else heard anything else about them?

I'd like Forcier, but I don't see anything about him that would say he would pick A&M.....

Yeah he sent a tape to A&M, but he did the same to about 20 or 30 other major programs also, so I don't see A&M having a Special Place on his list....

I hope I am wrong, but I don't think I am...



Taylor on the other hand could be easier to get since it's just A&M & ND right now... BUt more teams could jump in later on down the road & I would expect there to be more teams.

I agree with you. I count on him playing all his options...Was impressed by his wanting to be seen by Sherm and company though...He seems to be pretty much squared away by taking a proactive approach to his future early by contacting first unlike most kids his age who wait for the schools to come to them for the initial contact...

that said man a few of those letters are a horrible "first contact" in giving a good view to the respective universities.
