Brownwood offensive lineman Stavion Lowe is one of the top offensive linemen in the state of Texas this year, and now he's got at least one offer on the table. Lowe visits with Aggie Websider about the offer and what he thinks about A&M's new staff.

any one heard of him?????

I'm from the area and I hate to say we've never had much good come from there. Colby Freeman left, Jared Morris just wanted out and didn't even try to medical redshirt and Lee Grimes has stayed injured. I'll find out more about Lowe.

As bad as I hate to say it when Burnet lost to Brownwood by 2 points this year on a missed FG, Lowe didn't impress me much. He did run block good but needs alot of work on pass blocking. Their QB Pachall didn't impress me much either. Their CB/RB Vaccaro has some speed but is on the small side. Burnet crushed Brownwood last year in their own house and I wasn't impressed then either. Burnet plays them again in the kickoff classic in San Antonio this coming year, so I guess I'll get my 3rd chance to see if these guys have improved. Burnet moved back down to 3A but will be better this year as alot of the undeafeated Freshman and JV player help give us some depth this coming year. Burnet has a Freshman QB who will be a Soph this coming year that has everybody saying he's the next McGee. He will start this year on Varsity. As a Freshman he is 6'3 185 pounds and was throwing the ball 65 yards in pads. He should gain more weight as he matures and gain more arm strenght as well.

Brownwood dropped to 3A too. All I could find was a pick of Lowe and he passes the eyeball test but that's about it. I haven't watched them play since Kirby graduated but I might make that matchup in San Antonio. It seemed that last year Pachall was the heart and soul of the team.

Burnet pounded him all night and had him running for his life. Burnet should of won the game but had a few to many turnovers and missed 2 FG's and one muffed snap on a extra point. Burnet's First year coach this year is not as good as Shipley and it cost Burnet some wins this year. We got a new OC from 5a Conroe so this should help the playcalling in key situations. Burnet's head coach tried to be involved with the offense to much and he's not a Spread offense guru like Bob Shipley was and it showed. So the Superintendent went and got us a OC that knows how to run the Spread. Our defense had to keep Burnet in too many games and they got wore down late in the season. Burnet's Defense and DC are very Salty. Burnet's DC is very good and he's aggressive and likes to bring the wood.
