i saw tceh picked up eastern washington for their opener a couple days ago b/c tulsa bought out their 2 year deal in favor of playing arkansas.... either way, they still have 2 d-1aa teams on their schedule for next season. i thought d-1a schools could only play 1 d-1aa schools each season, but i guess that is not the case..... i am sure tceh's sos will rank at the bottom next season and it does not say much for their scheduling or their hopes of playing in a bcs bowl if they get to that level next season as some people think....

oh yeah...... i read it too fast. i thought tech declined and then LSU jumped in. but really happened was that Tech didn't want to play LSU so LSU scheduled APP state. aha..... sometimes when i read i think i'm just reading what i want it to say and not what it really says. :wow:

LSU vs ttu would have been fun to watch... BUt I guess Leach can't tell recruits that they will play the best across the country when they go ttu... only D-1AA schools & the Big XII....

At least teams like OU, tu, A&M, & a couple of other schools stick their necks out there & take em on....

I think tech would annihilate app-state. They (app-state) don't have the athletes we do and we can't seem to beat them.:mad:

Ummm...App State beat Michigan...they didn't have the talent we do and I'm not sure we could've beat Michigan last year.

Give me a break. Tech (IMO) is not equal to us. yet, they beat us.
The Ap win against Mich. was a fluke. The Michigan that played in their bowl could have beaten anyone. Give me a break, Vly. We beat Texas. Do you think texas would beat Ap-state??

I think App. State has a great team -- and honestly, I think they would've beaten Texas. I think there are about 50 NCAA Div 1 teams that could've beat Texas last year. The schedule didn't let it happen and fluky things helped them have a good year. Ok State, Nebraska and even Central Florida should/could have all been losses for tu....and don't forget the Arkansas State onside fiasco in the first game of the season.
