It happend to a goalie a while back, and thats why goalies started wearing the chin/throat protectors. Crazy stuff!

The video of the goalie, was much worse... this one wasnt bad but still really sad! I think they should wear kevlar around neck..

One good reason not to play hockey.

I saw a highlight a couple of years ago where a guy got his arm cut. It was a possibility that he would lose his arm due to the accident. Everything turned out ok, but the video was ugly.

no.... the first one was florida panthers and buffalo. in the first one the player that got cut in the throat plays for florida.

in the one you posted, it was st. louis and buffalo. i think the goalie who was cut was the buffalo goalie..

I think more people die from fishing, bull riding, cave diving, motorcoss...than auto racing.

I think the reference here is popular competitive sports...

It has happened in Buffalo twice. I think he'll be fine...not sure if he'll get the balls to go out and do it again (having his life flash before his eyes like that)...
