I didn't know he was only one of your top targets. That's funny because he happens to be going to one of the Longhorns Junior days. Pratt is a badass. Whoever gets him will be very happy.

Oh and not to mention only 100 players out of the whole country have stars. Sorry your top target isn't one of them.


But all that aside. There is some times when the lonestar recruiting part of the Rivals is biased towards U.T.

Texas has 5 confirmed commits already for 2009.
Greg Timmons- 4 star wide receiver out of Aldine Eisenhower
Garrett Gilbert- 5 star quarterback, 2nd best QB in nation, out of Lake Travis
Paden Kelly- unranked, but future high 4-star OL
Marcus Davis- unranked, but future Top 150 recruit
And of course the aforementioned Chris Whaley, a 4-star RB witha combination of size and speed.
Looks like there could be a couple more by the end of the night, maybe Russell Shepard, Dexter Pratt, Mason Walters, Alex Okafor,or Gasp! :wow: Jamarkus McFarland.

Looks like we're gonna get the 2nd tier Texas recruits this year.
