You'll love this. Absolute must read for entertainment and a great insight into the world of recruiting and what goes through a top recruit's head.

Great article....just goes to show. Valid concerns for sure, not sure I agree with his coaching logic. Like it or not Mack has put every single one of his feature backs that have started 2+ years into the top rounds of the draft....

It'll be interesting to see how this kids career plays out and if he regrets going to austin...or helps CU get back to the program it used to be...seems like a level headed kid though so best of luck to him

Are current players able to make contact with recruits like that? Especially if there was no pre-existing relationship before said recruit was being recruited by the school?

Although Scott announced it Wednesday morning as part of national signing day, his choice had come a day and a half earlier during a grueling discussion at a dining room table in his family’s town house in Oxnard, Calif. Soon his mother’s cellphone rang. It was Kennedy calling from Texas. Scott told him he would call back.Isnt this contact during the dead period?

is the contact limitation between the coach and the player or is it between the coach and the player and his family? It would be interesting to see how that is actually stated. Because if it's just no contact between the coach and the player then he didn't do anything wrong.
