Did she lip sing the National Anthem??? Why even bother to get up there infront of the Nation for the National Anthem before the Super Bowl if your going to lip sing it??????

The Lady covering for Mike Tirico on his ESPN radio show, just said she did & if she did... that really sucks....

I think they have been doing that for a long time. I can remember them saying the same thing when Whitney Houston sang the anthem several years ago.

no she was not singing the national anthem, but you'd be surprised by how many national acts actually lip sing the national anthem at big time sporting events. But its all in the name of "production" and having a polished product for the consumers.

JMO... but i've always found it to be better when a choir sings it.... JMO....

I forgot how terrible that was, they blamed the whole thing on the production staff. But with her squealing like a 13 boy going thru puberty is more of a thing on her vocals. Funny thing is, people that have done studio time with both the simpson sisters say ashlee is a much better singer than jessica.

The national anthem for the hockey allstar game was sung by an all boys choir, it seemed weird to me.....imho

A haven't heard a choir in quite some time...an actually good choir....now most regular season games in any sport usually don't have it lip synced, and i think nascar is pretty true to doing it all natural.

I worked for ABC during the Spurs/Nets finals and worked with Lisa Marie Presley. She lip-synced the halftime show...

National Anthems aren't typically lip-synced, and I'm pretty sure she didn't yesterday. Usually, the only things lip-synced are lyrics accompanied to music... If I recall, she sang by herself.

Also, the timing of the high notes and holding notes would have to be perfect, and I'm pretty sure you could tell by looking at her that she wasn't lip-syncing.

I had a friend who was a journalism major that had an internship the year prior with ABC. He worked with the media crew and got to work inside the TV booth. The second year, when they played the Nets, I had him get me in and I worked with the halftime-crew.

I basically got paid $13/hour to go to an NBA finals game, hang out with Lisa Marie Pressley, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul Jabaar...

My specific job was "prepping" Lisa Maries room. She had to have soft, flourescent lighting, unscented candles and some other weird requests. I also had to be the "gopher" for Starbucks -- all those guys drank Starbucks like nothing else....

I love the bizarre stuff that bands and stage acts have before they get to a show...we had some speaker come through town and they requested some weird type of meat.....it wasn't kosher, natural, farm raised or organic. We had to look it up on wikipedia and CS doesn't even have a store that has it...we gave them organic.
