CB Terrence Frederick from Katy, Tx apparently switched from Lousiville to the Ags.

NM...

On Rivals they have him listed as a 2 Star CB...

5'10, 170lbs...
4.45 forty....

I'll check Scout later....

But it seems he'll at least add depth... Hopefully he'll be a steal...

I thought we only had 2 Matt Moss and Tony Jerod......

And Jerod is a grade risk but hopefully he can get everything in order.

Wolridge was recruited as a LB and Chavis (grade risk) a TE. Harper isnt coming to A&M anymore he is going to La. Tech were he can enroll on march (they are on the quarter system) and he doesnt have to take the test.

If Mangan is moving to FB or H Back or something, then it seems like that means that Woolwridge will be an LB. Cavanaugh seems more like a LB to me, as well.

But, I think that we're fine at DE both in this class and with the younger guys on the roster. I do hope that Jerod makes it in.

im just a little worried since it seems like half our D isn't qualified yet

i know im wrong on numbers by saying that, but it's still a lot...and more than we've had in recent years...hopefully people take care of their business but still...there are going to be quite a few double-signees

Most of our DE Recruits are grade risk. We might not get any of them in. With KLM going to ND he was the only DE recruit who is not a grade risk. Only other D - Line guy who is not a grade risk is Dorsey & Rod Davis but it's unknown where he signs.

I remember watching a Rice/A&M game years ago when the football announcers made a similar comment. Rice and Stanford are the two Division 1A NCAA schools with the highest average SAT for their football teams. The comment was "Yeah, it's tought enough to find good linemen, but imagine trying to find any with a minimum 1000 SAT score!"
And that was before the recentering in 94...
