A&M has lost 2 or 3 kids now.... Who have switched to other schools....
A&M currently only has 25 commits instead of the 27 or 28 we had....
Has anyone heard of any new commits??? Neither Rivals or Scout have any offers listed for A&M...
Only one I've heard of was a DB that was commited to North Texas who might switch.... but other than that, I haven't heard of anything...

Royce Hill (north texas) was in town this past weekend but I don't think he received an offer.

I wonder how much the coaches think we need to replace these guys. We're at 25 guys right now which isn't a low number. By not extending new offers won't these scholarships be available for next year when the new staff has time to recruit and evaluate for a full year. Not to mention that next year the talent in TX is supposed to be up.
I could see bringing in a JUCO guy or something.

TX talent is always up.... I'm not worried about that....
But it's just something I would like to see addressed.....
But if no one is left that they coaches think will help, then I guess, there's no point in signing anyone else...

Yeah, I'm not saying there's not always good players in TX.
It seems like it would be good to pick up guys at a few positions--a JUCO OL who could help immediately and DB. If they didn't offer Hill, I wonder who else there is. It seems like most of the hs DBs are committed, so maybe a JUCO there? I think that there are plenty of older guys on the team who can play there, so that doesn't seem like it's really a need.
The only other thing that I can think of is another DL if Davis goes elsewhere. Is Jerod gonna qualify? That could create a need for replacements at DL if that were the case.

I think a JUCO DB would be better than a JUCO OL.... JMO....

CB Terrence Frederick from Katy, Tx apparently switched from Lousiville to the Ags.

While not North Texas... it's still a DB... I guess that was an area of concern for the staff, since they interviewed this kid & the kid who was commited to North Texas.
