Pats beat themselves. Kick the fieldgoal and it's going into overtime, instead of going for it on 4th down. Pats looked flat until the last drive by Brady.

I wouldn't say the Pats looked flat... It was more their O'Line than anything....

The Pats Defense played good & gave the Giants fits... the WR's were getting open & the RB's were running hard, but when the O'Line can't block, none of that matters...

Give the Giants some credit........

It's not like the Pats have been playing spectacular the last 5 or 6 games...

I would have kicked the field goal, instead of going for it on 4th down. Always take the points until you have to go for it on 4th down. That was a mistake by Pats coaching staff.

I'm sorry.... don't want to hijack the thread... and I'm sure it might have crossed your mind while you were typing that....

But isn't it funny how they went for it on 4th Down... Best Offense in the NFL, with several Hall of Famers... 3 Pro Bowl O'Linemen & they couldn't convert on 4th down....

Yet Ags wanted A&M to go for it on several 4th down situations also & instead A&M kicked the FG.... :laugh: I know, I know....

But you gotta find it funny... How the best offense EVER in the NFL couldn't get it.....:laugh:

I always take the points unless time is running out and you need to go for it because a FG dosn't help you.
