Just talked with Henry Clay standout wide receiver Aaron Boyd, who is just traveling back from an official visit with Oregon.
The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Boyd visited Arkansas last weekend and then went to Oregon and he said "it was long but a fun weekend."
Boyd said he'll pick from between Arkansas, Oregon, Missouri and Kentucky. He'll make his decision known on Feb. 6 at a ceremony at school.
Sucks...but this wasn't a big NEED...would have been awesome to get him...but we should probably go after another CB...

Adding him would have been awesome.... Kinda like Eating that extra slice of cake you really don't need.....
But the peices we have coming in at the WR spot are good for building towards the future & bringing in more talent down the road at WR... :gig:

Yeah, but it would have been nice to keep him away from Arkansas or Mizzou. Hopefully he won't hurt us too much in the future.

Dez didn't do a hole lot against us... he had some catches... but "SCOREBOARD" is the most important thing....

maybe not against us...but 43 receptions for >600 yards & 6TDs isn't bad for a freshman...not to mention he saved his best for last (bowl game)...
I just hope OUR 6'2" 200(ish) pound receivers can produce the same or more in their freshmen year...:gig:

That's what they're listed at, for what that's worth. I guess Johnson at least is fairly tall for him to be a bball prospect (2 guard, right?).

Boyd was a longshot at best...the only thing we had going for us was his brother who is on the Texans...heard that Boyd wants to be in the SEC ...
