Here's an objective quiz.
After you pick, state why you chose who you chose.
Which quarterback would you want in your backfield based on these stats?
QB #1
148-250 passing, 1849 yards, 12 TD, 14 INT's
167 rushing attempts, 1079 yards, 14 TD
Team goes 11-1
QB #2
200-344 passing, 2791 yards, 14 TD, 4 int's
151 rushing attempts, 718 rushing yards, 8 TD
Team goes 8-4

Most would go with QB 2 but i have some questions:
What type of offenses are these QBs in?
What caliber players are they playing with?
what caliber teams are they playing againist?
Hey, i'm a sports management major and hopefully in the future, this will be my job. :)

They played each other once in the season, QB #1's team won. They are both Top 25 football teams in the same conference. Same style of offense.

I pick #2 every time.

edit: Loftin, sorry man, I had to change this. You're right, but I'm trying to prove a point to the other team fans. So, had to take the name out. ;)

In that case I go with QB 2. He has 58% completion to QB 1's 59 and 2 threw almost 100 more passes and had 10 less interceptions. He has less rushing than #1, but enough to show that he can run if he needs to and has more passing yards that tells me that he will stay in the pocket as long as possible. 14 yards a completion looks better to me than 12.5 yards a completion. I go with #2.
#2 sounds like a complete quarterback who will pass first, run second while #1 sounds like a QB who will throw only if he doesn't have anywhere to run. Maybe I pick number 1 to go in my backfield too though..... as my running back.

QB#2 b/c of the picks of QB#1. Thats tells me enough about him
#1's stats look like he has a great (possibly Top 5 NFL pick) TB to hand off to. And, it looks (from the stats) like he has bad throwing mechanics.

As some of you figured out...and some didn't...that was Reggie's stats vs Vince's stats.
And the winner as the best QB = REGGIE:
