According to ESPN... There are some things to be happy about with A&M's current incoming class...

http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/tracker/scorecard?id=schools&sort=espn150&season=2008

As far as the ESPN Top 150... A&M has 3 kids listed there... that puts A&M Ranked 16th in the country.

One signe of progress is A&M bringing in only 1 JUCO player in this class... That could very well equate to an improved level of talent being brought in, considering A&M had been bringing in 2 to 5 in the last 3 or 4 classes.

And the best part is Tech at 90th for dead last in the big 12.

I wish that meant something...but to be honest, IMO, it seems like they are always ranked low in recruiting but somehow seem to do more with less talent if you buy into the recruiting rankings. Anyways, you are right though, i guess the more Tech ranks low in recruiting the more we can hope it'll catch up to them and hopefully we can finally beat em.

Espn piggeybacks off Scouts. Not rivals.

agreed.... they are one prime example i almost never put much stock in these recruiting services. there is alot more that goes into just getting the best players available. you have to have good players at every position to truely be a good team and thats one thing these services never factor in (and to me is the biggest key to how the class should be rated)

I trust Looch. He is willing to rank players right reguardless what school their going to.
