Poll????

Can you do a poll w/ that many variables?

I'll try, though I don't get any good info, so this is a truly uninformed guess.

Gray-yes,
Dean-no
Hall-yes, sounds very solid
S. Johnson-yes
Boyd-no
Harris-no. hope I'm wrong about that
Davis-yes
KLM-yes (Rivals has a teaser saying that he told tu no. so is it just us and ND?)
Jerod-no
Brown-yes (I can see getting him if either Davis or Jerod leaves, though I think it'd be interesting to see him at FB).
Chavis-yes
No idea about Smith or Mason

I just hope that we can get/hold 2 of the 4 between Gray, Johson, Boyd, and Harris. Davis also seems like an important piece to this class since we seem to need a presence in the middle. He and Dorsey could be good in there.

I guess I was wrong about KLM as he has decommited this past weekend, I hope I had a better feel for Rod Davis as he just visited tu this past weekend, there seems to be no real news coming from him so I guess it could be good.

Yeah, I was wrong about KLM too. As for Davis, no news is good news, I suppose. At least we are deep at DE in this class and w/ the guys already on the team.

Signing day can't come soon enough.

From what I have heard is that yesterday the coaching staff told KLM that if he was going to keep visiting other school then we weren't going to hold a spot for him and that to us he wasn't committed.

Sed is in. Davis will be in also..KLM is out...he wont recover from his chat with Wyatt...

Cyrus is in, Dean is out(wasnt ever really in)...

but this could mean something else...

could our NEW coaches have seen something they didn't necessarily agree w/ our former coaches about?

could KLM not be the type of DE they need in their new scheme; therefore they were less willing to play the "game" with him?

lots of speculation, doesn't necess mean it is all bad...but upon hearing that at face value...it makes you wonder what is really going on.

It could be that there are only a few ships left and too many people wanting them. That way it frees up a ship and lets everyone know that if you aren't 100% sure about being an Aggie and still want to take visits to other schools then we aren't going to sit around and wait when there are other kids that we can get.

I agree that this could be a way to free up another scholarship in a more needed area. I am not worried as this recruiting class is shaping up to be one of the best in a long while.

Agreed. Top 10 class is a great way to begin the "Sherman era", but thanks in part to Fran's work last spring/summer.....
