I dont know how good this is going to be but Ill probably add HBO this weekend to check it out.
Ive been hearing lots of gore/violence and nudity/sex..... and its HBO so you know they are going to overdo it.
some preview videos here: http://www.hbo.com/rome/

I've been a fan of all of HBO's series...even Six Feet Under for a while, but it got too gay for my blood. I'll watch to see what they bring to the table...I need something to hold me over on Sunday nights until The Sopranos comes back on.

I never watched any of HBO's series other than band of brothers.... I hated that they repeated them so many times and took away from showing movies (which is what HBO is)

The only thing that will top Band of Brothers is the new one. They are filming another one but based in the Pacific Front.
Oh, yeah Rescue Me is on tonight! Who's in with me???

yes the new band of brothers is going to kickass.... im still not so sure its going to be better than the first.
Band of Brothers really took on a whole new dimension in HDTV.... It was so good that I have a dedicated hard drive for storing the uncompressed HD version of it. 89 gigs total.
