He is a 4-star safety who is ranked as the 7th best player at his position in the country. Apparently he is really good friends with Aundre Dean and they want to go to school together. Dean looks to be our main target and we could see a commitment from him in the next two to three weeks or even sooner. Woods is a soft commit to UCLA, but plans to take a visit here, possibly on January 25th once the dead period ends. Can lay the wood for his size and could be one of the better DBs to come to College Station since Terrence Kiel. Hopefully he won't be using drugs like Terrence. A legitimate top 100 to 150 recruit on Scout and Rivals, but could pass a couple of recruits when new rankings come out this month. Very athletic as well- played as RB/S in national 7-on-7 tournament for his high school, Encino Crespi in California. Apparently this team was loaded as they made it to the national championship and lost in overtime. This is a really good possiblilty but the visit isn't set in stone. Anyways, thought I would tell ya'll what I know.:popcorn:

He's still interested... Woods has said on Rivals & Scout that he planned on visiting... just not sure if it's an Official Visit or not...
