Do you have any idea on who will make up the new staff? I know names like Applewhite, Jordan, Cromwell, etc. have been thrown around, but what have you been hearing?

I know Randy Jordan looks like he'll be the RB coach. Buddy Wyatt is in the lead for D - Line coach, Cromwell is on track to become OC unless he gets a shot as a HC in the NFL but it looks like he won't and Sherman keeps saying it's going to be Cromwell. Sherman is stilling trying to get Major Applewhite as QB coach and passing Cood but it's is salary that's causing problems. It's reported he makes 240,00 a year and would want at least that much here. Also Sherman has said that former SMU coach and Green Bay OC Tom Rossley could become QB coach and Co- OC. All signs point to Rossley since he was with Sherman at Green Bay. No news about a WR, special teams, or Safety's coach yet. Clancy Barone is set to become Asst. Head coach but be the TE/OL coach.:popcorn:

$$$$ & Title seem to be the issue.... For the $$$$ he wants, he might need to be named Co-OC (but really just be the QB coach).... But I don't think A&M has a slot for that (I think)... I know having room for a staff member with that Title is an issue from what I've read...

Last Night I saw a post on another site that kind of suggested a decision had been made and he was NOT going to be part of the staff.

But I could not find any information to support the supposition.
