His name is Randy Jordan. He was with Callahan at Oakland and Nebraska. He is a West Coast offense guy.

I guess there is no doubt that Sherman is going with the West Coast offense...

I not a fan of Callahan or any coach that was with him. I fear A&M is getting all these NFL coaches that have no idea what it's like to coach college football in todays game. Most of these guys have been away from College Football for 10 years or more. A few like Herring and I guess this Jordan guy have coached in college but I'm still not sold on Herring and I don't like anybody that was with Callahan. Reminds me of what Callahan tried to do at NU. He brought all these NFL guys to NU and put in the West Coast offense and NFL schemes and it didn't work.:bored:

Yeah, well, they replace a staff of college football coaches who had no idea how to coach college football in today's game.

Part of me wants to say noooo to this because of the spread offense and part of me looks at the current BCS teams and other than WVU and Florida (non BCS but of that calibre) and I see mainly multiple/pro style offenses and good/great defenses predominatly.

I'm not sure I'm ready to judge a D Coordinator on year in a program in absolute disarray through no fault of his own so I withhold judgement as I will for the Offense as well.

To me its all about recruiting and then implementing a system to take advantage of those recruits by being flexible so if the current staff can do that then I'm happy...I just have no idea first impression wise if they can or can't.
