Here is our 2008 schedule with our opponents records, bowl results, and last seasons game (if we played them):

8/30 ARKANSAS ST. (5-7), No Bowl, DNP
9/6 @ New Mexico (9-4), Beat Nevada 23-0, DNP
9/20 MIAMI (5-7), No Bowl, Lost 17-34
9/27 ARMY (3-9), No Bowl, DNP
10/4 @ Oklahoma St. (7-6), Beat Indiana 49-33, Won 24-23
10/11 KANSAS ST. (5-7), No Bowl, DNP
10/18 TEXAS TECH (9-4), Beat Virginia 31-28, Lost 7-35
10/25 @ Iowa St. (3-9), No Bowl, DNP
11/1 COLORADO (6-7), Lost to Alabama 24-30, DNP
11/8 OKLAHOMA (11-2)*, play West Virginia in Fiesta, Lost 14-42
11/15 @ Baylor (3-9), No Bowl, Won 34-10
11/28 @ Texas (10-3), Beat Arizona St. 52-34, Won 38-30

We face 6 bowl teams from 2006 and 6 teams we faced last season. In those six games we were 3-3 ... winning all three of the home games (oSu, Baylor, and Texas) while losing the three road games (Miami, Tech, Oklahoma).

Of the six bowl teams we face, we played 4 of them last season and went 2-2 in those games.

The combined win loss for the 12 game schedule is 76-74* ... roughly a .500 schedule.

From the north we drop the top two teams (Missouri and Kansas) and get the #3, #4, and #6 teams from 2006

* Still pending the result of tonights Oklahoma - West Virginia game.

Dropping KU, Mizzou, Nebraska

Adding KSU, ISU, Colorado

This will help our conference record a lot...

Agreed... of the teams we add, Colorado will be the toughest.... They were obviously getting better as the season went on...

Which sucks.... A&M always winds up with North Teams on the up swing & the 2 years they don't play us they suck... I hate that.....

tu gets those teams on the down side... we get em on the up.... WTF........

CU is on the upswing, but at least we get them at home next year. As far as road games go, that schedule's pretty good. New Mexico, ISU, Baylor should be wins on the road. Then it's just OSU and tu for the rest of the road schedule. Both winnable.

Glad the schedule is favorable for what will be a transition year.

WHile tough... if the Ags can defend Kyle Field... next year could be one to remember...:gig: But that's gonna be easier said than done....

I thought that the Army game was dropped and we will have to find someone else.
