the strech plays with goodson and sometimes with lane then we will do the bootleg

spread undercenter 4 WR's and 1 TE and more i formation less shotgun

pound the ball but not with options but with goodson with tosses and all of that and lane with runs up the middle

short slants passes to the WR's

and also reverses and more trick plays...

thoughts??

predictions???

Sherman has already said he will not abandon the option & shotgun... most of what you said is correct, but he will utilize the Shotgun & Option...

The Shotgun, because the NFL uses it more & more & it works well at the College Game...

The Option, because we have the athlete's for it & the our top 3 QB's on the Depth Chart can all run the an Option play...

Sherman will change alot in our ofense but he will keep a few lil things....

I hope your right. I like the spread but I'm looking forward to seeing what Sherman brings to the table. I agree about the option we need a Option /Zone read package becausse one it's tough to stop and all our Qb's are Dual threat guys.

i think he needs to work with the qb and WR's fast because this year they had ZERO trust

Sherman is a west coast offense kind of guy. There's no doubt he'll change his offense a little to fit the college game, but I have no idea how much.

I expect a lot of screens and short passes. Lane and Goodson should still see plenty of action, though. If his use of Ron Dayne is any indication, he'll at least give Lane a shot when we're inside the 5.

At Green Bay & in Houston, Sherman has not been one to shy away from forcing the Big RB into the game in short yardage situations even if he's stopped on 2nd & 2 or 3rd & 1, he'll go for it again on 4th & 1.... :gig:
