i still like the press conference he had, where he was wearing his 4 highschool state championships rings, and he said along the lines of "i won 4 for my highschool, now its time for me win 4 national championships at notredame"

that sealed it for me on the most over-rated player/disappointing player

You guys are not being very objective. Cart was dissapointing and I'm glad, but Keller or Smith were bigger dissapointments IMO.

I say Mike Goodson even though he is not on the list. He had more rushing attempts, and 200 fewer rushing yards. YPC went down a full 2 yards from last year, longest run was only 34 yards, and touchdowns cut in half. Not to mention only 1 100 yard rushing game.

This is probably herasy to say this with Loftin around, but Goodosn should be the featured back next year, and J-Train used mainly in short yardage situations. Hopefully Sherman will woirk with the O-line to get some lanes opened for Goodson this year, and Goodosn gets some shots at something other than end-arounds on the short side of the field and screens.

This was an issue some what talked about....

He also hasn't been producing a whole lot.... except for the 1 screen pass against baylor... I would hate to see Mike leave, but he has been given almost the same number of touches as Lane (11 less over 8 games), hasn't been able to produce as much as Lane or even at the same level he produced last year...

Mike is averaging 4.8 yds this year... last year he averaged 6.7 yds per carry... Unless he destroys KU, OU, tu, & MU, I don't see him duplicating his 6.7 yds average from last season... While Lane has improved his average by 0.5 per carry... 4.4 last year to 4.9 this year..... McGee averaged 4.6 last year & this year is averaging 5.9....

Mike is the only one of the 3 who is not living up to expectations that were set last season once the 3 of them got going...
