The Sony model has the best sound for $20.00 and my daughter and I are always fighting over them.
Do you know how good these are, Wade?

i really don't..... i'm sure they are pretty comparable with all the lower end earphones out there. but for what i use them sound quality doesn't matter since i'm running or at the gym and have a lot of road/gym noise. they are definitely worth the 10 bucks you'll pay (4.99 + 5 shipping) and here you get a pair of them.
but if you want to use them for running or the gym they are perfect. they are cheap (i go through a pair about every three months), the wires are behind your neck, and it looks like the actual chord is short which i like (long chords flapping around are pretty annoying when i run) the only thing that looks suspect is they have foam earpieces which are a no-no when you run for sweat reasons. i don't know how that will be a factor.
these are my favorite sport earphones by nike (which are actually made by phillips):

best running phones i have tried. wraps around neck, water (sweat) proof and durable. they are a little pricy at 20 bucks but last a little longer (around 6 months compared to 3-4 months for other pairs)
i'm really high on the nike bandwagon. ironically enough i think they make the worst shoes.... but as for as apparel and equipment they are top notch. dri fit has to be one of the best inventions the last decade along with the dvr and mp3 player. a lot of other companies have thier own versions of dry-fit (brooks, adidas, reebok, etc) but trust me dri-fit is the best. in the middle of the summer after running seven miles my shirts barely look like i even sweated while other shirts with dri-fit copycats are soaked through.
nike rocks. just don't buy shoes from them.

OK, thanks. The Sony ones last about 6 moths for me, which is why we seem to only have one pair in the house. The on the neck have been my favorite since they came out.
I've not seen the Nike (Phillips) ones, but those would be much better on long flights. :gig:
I did order the Woot pair. We'll make good use of them. Thanks for the tips. :)
