yeah, i'm sure he's on most people's lists...
but from the (early) looks of things...It's OJ Mayo's to lose right now (although USC lost tonight :laugh::laugh::popcorn:)

I think O.J. Mayo will win it.
I didn't see Jordan mentioned. Hopefully he will be on everyone's radar by the end of the season.

I think Mayo had 30+ points in the USC game today. He's definitely the best known freshman before the season begins.
OJ Mayo will not be freshman of the year
Mark my words.
I want to say Jordan will, but I really think Michael Beasley will at K-State. The guy is an amazing player. He came into my work today, He's HUGE.

I think he'll be a freshman all-american. You never know about freshman of the year. It's probable he'll be in the runnings. DJ can DUNK!
A&M looks like the new talent is great. The team is under a new system though, so my expectations are moderately low. We have a long ways to go.

I think if A&M has a great season and he plays well, it will give him a shot. It seems those types of awards aren't individual awards anymore. if he carries a big load and leads A&M to a top 5 finish -- then I can see Jordan getting it even if Mayo or Love have better "stats"

Its way too early to know. Stats against these cupcakes mean nothing. Their performance during conference and tournament play is all that matters.
