People should be required to pass a test in order to be parents. Stupid lady went to work (at Hooters) and forgot that her 17 month old was in the backseat. Her child was dead by the time she got off work.
PHOENIX (AP) -- Phoenix police say an infant left unattended inside a hot, stuffy car for at least 7 hours was found dead Tuesday afternoon.
The child's mother is employed as a waitress at a Hooters restaurant near Bell Road and Interstate 17.
Phoenix police say she arrived for work at 10:00 a.m., parked in the open parking lot, exited her car, locked the vehicle and entered the restaurant.
After her shift, police say she walked to her parked car and immediately realized that she had forgotten that her 17-month-old child was in the back seat.
