1st post back.... :gig:
Lol... Well folks see the aTm metalic decal on my truck or when I am wearing my aTm cap & I get the weird looks from both Bama & AU fans....
Bama folks always wanna ask me how Fran is doing (like I know him:) ), & 1/2 of the Auburn folks tell me A&M needs to leave Tommy alone & look else where while the other 1/2 want him gone.... :wow:

I do already.... Restaurants, stores & other things are obviously smaller... 1st thing I noticed... also the service at most eating places isn't quite what it was in SA.

Ya'll think you have seen meltdowns.... I drove to the grocery store today after the Bama/UL Monroe game.... Folks were pissed in the grocery store & you could see folks walking around here really pissed.... LOL....
The local media here is really pissed about it.....
One guy in the store saw my A&M cap & said at least Fran never let us lose to a Sun Belt team.... I laughed & said want him back? ;) :)

I am not like that.... :bored: I have no reason to run or hide from anyone or anything.... Since you think that way, I guess you are that type of person..... But like I said, I'm not.....
I haven't been on because I haven't had internet because Uncle Sam has moved me from Lackland to Gunter-Maxwell here in Montgomery Alabama....
You must really think highly of yourself if you think you would be the reason why I wouldn't post.... :headslap:

Just shows you what Gravy thinks about the character of men who defend our country. I'm pretty sure he is a Communist.

3 to 4 years in Bama, then hopefully God willing, 3 to 4 in Germany or the UK, then finish the last 4 to 5 of my AF Career back in San Antonio....
That way by the time we move back my daughters can spend their Highschool years in Texas & can enjoy the whole Texas Highschool experience.....
My oldest will be entering her Freshman year by then & my youngest will still be in Junior High... But the great thing is if I do it all as planned & retire after 20 years... I'll be retired at age 39....:gig: 1 daughter will be at A&M or a good school & the other will be in her Junior or Senior of high School by then & then it will be just me & the wife again... of course the Wife will have 2 years left in the Air Force herself.... but she'll finish it out in SA also....

Actually, I don't know if I am or not....you see, I rarely lose, and when I do it is never much compared to what I win. I have however been the victim of people who never seem to hold up their part of the bargain. I am glad to hear that you are not one of those people. It makes me proud to hear that there is someone with those characteristics that I wish all who lost to me would have as well. I sure wish that that character also was one that did not immediately resort to a personal attack of sorts, but I guess we can't all be perfect!

Germany is awesome (for vacation anyway. Can't say for living there long-term). I am sure you will be ready to get back to the US afterwards, but then you may consider Alabama as kinda being out of the country as well....;)

It's up to them.... I would like it (I think everyone could benifit from at least 4 years in the Military JMO, but if they don't want to, I wont force em to...

I was in Germany for 3 weeks on my way to a deployment once & loved it.... was a nice "calm before the storm".... Got to see Frankfurt (sp?) Ramstein & Rhein Mein... Was pretty awesome....
Bama is like a whole other planet.... Folks stare at you if they don't know you... At 1st I thought the stares were because I wasn't white... but my wife is getting stares also (even when I'm not around)... and it's that kind of stare you see in a movie where everyone around the main characters are brain washed or something... just really weird...

Wife is in the AF also... she knows how it goes... she's deployed & has seen her friends PCS also...
If she had been picked to move to another Base, I'd follow her also... But yeah they are great.. the 5 year old (Brianna) has really been great during this.... She's had her bad moments, but the last 2 to 3 weeks, we've been in hotels on base & looking for houses & getting her started at a new Day Care & she's been great & optomistic the whole time... real up beat about the whole thing & hasn't complained....:gig: The 9 month old doesn't know what's going on so she's cool.... :gig:

If you do PCS to the UK and end up where I think I might, you won't be that far. That would be fun! :D
We could get together and eat some real Mexican food!!!!! :gig:

Hell yeah....:gig: I found one Mexican Restaurant here... (Tequilla Grill)... it is the cheapest place for a good meal here... any other place the wife & I eat at here it's $30 plus total for just the 2 of us... but at Tequilla Grill it's $14 or $15 easy... I love it there...

OK, you're going to be in for a serious shock at the cost of meals in England. The good news is, the grocery stores deliver. I am easing into the idea of being a better-kept woman. ;)

That depends on my HOusing allowance.... (BAH & BAS).... It went down from SA to Montgomery.... but everything is more expensive here.... Doesn't make sense...
But I think I would make more overseas so I would welcome the move...:gig: 2 Overseas Military incomes...:gig:
