Apparently Dancing with the Stars drew bigger ratings then game 2 of the series.

I've watched every game just because I like baseball. I hate the Sox and the Rockies got lucky even getting in. I hate sweeps in the World Series, it's so boring. There is nothing better than a Game 7 of the World Series.

I'm shocked the Rockies got swept. It was sad.

The World Series gets horrible ratings. Even the NBA Finals (which has taken a major dive in ratings since Stern has tried to make it higher scoring) gets better ratings.

Not tur at all

San Antonio’s four-game sweep of Cleveland finished with a record-low 6.2 television rating and 11

All I can find are the first two games of the WS but they got 11/18 share. The lowest its ever been before is 10.1. That is better than 6.2/11.
Pwned

Hell

The World Series pregame and the start of Game 2 scored an 8.9/14

The Pregame for baseball outdrew the NBA Finals

Actually even with MJ in the Finals the NBA Finals, they out drew the World Series only once out of 6 (1998 - highest rating ever for NBA) and baseball has to contend with football whereas nothing else is on with the NBA Finals.

How were the Rockies "lucky" getting in? Its not like a bunch of teams lost that let Colorado sneak in the backdoor. They had an unbelievable September and definitely earned their spot in the playoffs.

The problem is that baseball is a game made to be played damn near ever day. Layoffs in baseball are not good. That is why you don't see multi day layoffs during the regular season. The Rockies having 8 days off killed them. I'm not saying that they would have beat Boston with little or no layoff, but they would not have been swept.
