BC/Va Tech game

Turned this game on as Va Tech was punting with 2:15 left in the game. Good thing I didn't waste my time with the first 3 hours. I saw everything I needed to see over the next 15 minutes. I can't believe Va Tech blew that game.

I was damn impressed with BC's quarterback. He is a big time heisman favorite, but I had never seen him play. His stats might not have been that great last night, but those last two drives were damn impressive.

I had the game on while I was doing some work. Great ending. The BC QB is very good and is worthy of heisman consideration.

Matt Ryan isn't fast, or real quick...but he is elusive in the pocket & his scrambling ability is what MADE the last drive possible (gave his receivers time to scramble...get open). NO ONE can cover a receiver THAT long!

His last throw for the game winning TD was amazing. To throw the ball that far and accurate across your body with both feet off the ground takes some serious skill.

not to mention he could have EASILY ran the ball to put them in VERY makeable FG range...

I agree that Ryan did a great job of giving his receivers time to get open, but VT did only rush three and drop eight. That does help some.

And I agree with Pflug on the TD throw. Actually all three (one was called back for holding) TD throws he made were great.
