VY out and Collins in [Archive]

VY is sitting against the Texans today and Collins is starting in his place.

If the Texans do not have 3 or more sacks I will be dissappointed...Collins is a statue back there

The Titans' offense immediately became more productive with Collins than they were with Young. This backs up what I've been saying about Vince all along.

i don't think the titans offnse is that productive...they are only managing field goals and the texans have turned the ball over 3897429836527 times..

They are 3-2 when Young starts. Their offense is among the worst in the League, and that's counting games against "powerhouse" defenses like the Saints and Falcons.

I was chalking up that last loss to Collins becuase Young got hurt....the bottom line is wins you can't argue with wins....I'm not a VY fan but to say they are better off with Collins is one of the dumbest things i've ever heard

Saying that Vince Young wins games is like saying that Rex Grossman wins games (actually, Grossman wins more). Defense and special teams matter a lot more than the QB is the W/L column.

VY is a winner...do not be deceived about that...he has some growing to do...but he has been a good leader for a 2nd year QB for the Titans.

yes but a QB can lose games...I would trust VY more not to lose a game than Collins....look at Collins track record, he has lost plenty by himself

Vince had the game-losing fumble against the Colts this year. The play was designed for him to throw it deep, but "Superman" thought he could run it in. Not even close...
