Cussing does nothing to improve a football player or get better performance.

Its not the cussing I am highlighting with these videos. It has something to do with the title of this thread :spy:

It's about getting across to your players in a way that they'll respond. Whether or not some of the words you use are "bad words" is irrelevant.

I agree and disagree. I don't think cursing is good at all, but it's not all that terrible either. Would be worse for a head coach to curse during the game. I like the excitement and results, but not the means. "Boom" and "You ain't hurt" are good, but "knock those mfs out" is really bad.

i think it's blatantly obvious which people have played football and which ones haven't

Like I was saying, no matter what technique you use, you have to be a source or passion, inspiration, and motivation. Cussing is fine, not cussing is fine. My dad always got his point across the right way (with cussing :D), but whatever guys, look past that. JUST BRING BACK THE FIRE!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

Cussing is a form of passion. I would say a good majority of football players cuss when they get pumped up, so why cant the coaches help give the image they are on their level... What happens on a football field starts and ends on that field.

Exactly. If you think that those football players aren't dropping f-bombs left and right, you are kidding yourself. He is speaking to his players in a language that they'll understand. Girls don't play the game...
