Darnell, expected to have more sacks by now. Style of offense dictates defense (I DISAGREE). Talking OSU Wrestling using as an example. How good are we when we are in tournament, last five games is tournament not worried about stats. Concern about being efficient.

Steven doing good, leading rusher, room for improvement in passing game. We haven't said we are going to spread out, we are going to use play action. Why did you go away from run, response was first play in second half was power play and it didn't work. question, do you want Steven to be leading rusher? game dictates.

To that, I'd say that's more on play calling.... most big plays were off of the Option Play Action Pass & Regular Play Action Pass.... Those plays were killer because of how much teams had to respect the run...

It set up WR's in 1 on 1 situations & we don't take advantage of that this year...:sad:

JJ question, can't he help any. JJ is getting better, Fran doesn't see that he can help all that much. JJ is redshirt fish, Steven wasn't ready as red shirt fish, not where they want him.

QB changes weekly, doesn't handle everything in practice yet so not game ready, JJ hasn't closeed gap between he and steven. Q. about using them in some fashion, no real answer. Last year, had success on road hasn't carried over to this year why? Fran has no answer.

Q. is this must win? A. this is a very important game, hopefully we can make a few more plays than them. Not losing sleep over place kicker, tricky wind up at tech, lots of confidence in Matt, does it on a daily basis.

Even if it's a running play or an option play..... Play him a couple of downs... give the defense something else to think about.....

Fran a little behind statsitically than he would like. no one specific area, just accumulation of things. try to play to what strength is and maybe that has hurt our balance, we have 3 guys that can run the ball, need to get them their touches, so it hurts balance.
