Do we win in Nebraska?

I am a die-hard Aggie fan. HOWEVER, with all of the hullabaloo (pardon the pun), I am very worried about out team in Lincoln.:sad:

If any road game is win able it's this one. They are not that good. Like I said before the year started we would lose to Miami, Tech, OU, and Mizzu. So far I been right on track.

I say yes but only because we need two more wins to become bowl eligible. That means winning at NU, home for KU, or home for tu. I think OU and Mizzou will probably be losses.

I just don't see the difference between this years game with Nebraska and last years. Both teams were good last year coming into this year with high expectations that have not been met. We should have won last year and did not and that was at home. I just think with all the coaching distractions right now, we are just not capable of beating Nebraska on the road. I hope I am wrong though.

I think we win, but for some reason, this game feels eerily similar to our Miami game. Miami gets embarrassed at home by OU and then uses our game to prove a point. Just hope the same doesn't happen on Saturday.

I feel the same way. I do not have a comfortable feeling about this game, which is sad considering how bad nebraska is playing this year.

we(NU) are really really bad. we have the talent to be a very good team, but we are not anywhere near playing to our talent level. its sad to watch, the coaches have clearly lost this team. not only do we not play well, but we dont play hard. totally uninspired. compound that with the fact that our schemes are bad on Defense...... we are a hurting team

our defense is nonexistent. this year we will break every(most yards allowed, most points allowed so on) all time record on D. as I said before this isn't JUST a case of bad scheming(it is bad), we aren't even playing hard. it is truly sad. that is not Nebraska football. I would like to think that the stuff with the AD would light a fire under their butts, but I am not holding my breath. if we play like we have the last 5 weeks you should win by 2 TD's at least. we might be better than ISU and baylor, but thats it in the big 12 right now.

What concerns me is that we have the weapons, but our coach seems completely incapable of gameplaning. case in point, we have a big back J. Lane he is a big part of our game plan. Without explanation at the Miami game he gets something like 2 carries with the first time he touches the ball midway through the 3rd qtr. What I'm saying is your defense may look atrocious to you, but if trends hold, we will find a way to make them look good, and why shouldn't the trends hold, its been the same for 5 yrs.

Nice on the avatar! I think we have a few other huskers who come around. Another thing I was going to point out is our O-coord thinks an explosive play is a 15 yd pass or a 10 yd run, so the "homerun plays" which I assume your D has given up have been non existent for the most part for the Ags. Our vertical passing game is MIA!

Well i do know that our last two games were against defenses ranked in the mid 90s and we scored a combined 20 points

Steel, I understand that, but our coach doesn't seem to get this. I would expect him looking at the 106 run defense standing and then decide this is the game he is going to be pass happy. Man I love my Aggies and all, I just don't seem them putting up 42 pts. I think the whole AD thing, the blackshirt thing, will light a fire. One more variable to the equation, is that we are on the road, not a good thing for us.

we gave up 600 yards to ball freaking state. we honestly have one of the worst D's in the country. our players have even stopped wearing the blackshirts in practice. run, pass, it doesnt matter. we cant stop it. dont you guys have a mobile QB? if so you are set

decent QB and receivers. keller can be dangerous, but has thrown way to many picks. our RB are good lucky our main back is great in open space, but needs a hole to run(which is rarely there) castille our freshman back is huge, but runs pretty well for a big boy. he is going to be a load in a few years. the main problem on both sides of the ball is that our line SUCKS

Wow, a "my team sucks worse than your team" thread. The only redeeming grace for us is that over the years, we haven't fallen nearly as far as Nebraska has.

I can't believe you all call yourselves Aggie fans. You are doing more harm to our team than any coach or quarterback could ever do. How do you think they feel hearing all this crap you are dishing out. Be positive, and hope for success, not failure. You all sound like you want us to lose. If you were true fans, you would be doing your JOB, and that is to support your team and coaches. Let the AD and other "powers that be" make the decisions regarding firings, hirings, etc. I can't believe you are trying to outdo Husker fans on this site "dissing" our team. GO AGGIES!
